The Project Locomotive
The locomotive being restored is an old Balboa P-10 Pacific that was made in 1965 by Katsumi. The previous owner had converted the locomotive into number 2461, a P-8 class Pacific. The locomotive had been well used and was in need of some repair as all of the air piping had fallen off and numerous other parts were loose or missing.

From the photos it’s clear that the locomotive is also in need of a new paint job.
